On International Women’s Day, March 2021,The ICC announced the ICC Women’s T-20 Champions Trophy 2027. The International Cricket Council was also announced in its event list 2024 to 2031 cycle. The ICC also announced that in this tournament, six teams will participate and 16 matches will be played in the 2027 format. This tournament will be round-robin and knockout. The final will be played between the top two teams in the tournament.
