Bethany Louise Mooney Profile-Women Player Australia

Bethany Louise Mooney profile-women player Australia,a most successful player of the Australian women cricket team that has achieved many records.Bethany Louise Mooney has been popular as one of the most consistent players in the game, with a versatility that can see her take on any role in the position while she is a wicket-keeper.

Bethany Louise Mooney made her debut for the Queensland Fire as a 16-year-old in 2009-10; her breakthrough season at domestic level came in 2012-13, when she averaged 44 for the Fire, including four half-centuries.

An injury to Alyssa Healy provided Mooney with her first international opportunity in January 2016 against India in a T-20; and just weeks later she made her debut half-century in her first one-day international, scoring 53 as she opened the batting in a losing cause versus New Zealand at Mount Maunganui.

Healy returned for the T-20 World Cup in India later in 2016, but Louise Mooney had done enough to retain her place, though she was relegated down the order into a pure batting role and had just two opportunities in the tournament.

In 2017, she scored her maiden international hundred in both the one-day international (against New Zealand in Auckland) and the T-20 (against England in Canberra), although each came in a losing cause. Mooney was part of the Australia team that exited the 2017 ODI World Cup in the semi-final against India and has since been a key part of their resurgence.

In 2019, she took her batting to another level, forging the tournament-winning stand alongside Healy in the final of 2020 T-20 World Cup at the MCG while in the one-day international, she produced one of the finest run-chase innings when she made an unbeaten 125 against India in Mackay.

Domestically, Mooney took Brisbane Heat to back-to-back WBBL titles in 2018 and 2019 with Player of the Match innings in both finals before moving west to join Perth Scorchers. She was the leading run scorer in consecutive seasons and in the 2021–22 campaign, she helped the Scorchers to their first title.
